Seed Selection

Finest brown mustard seeds are sourced from our farms from Maniram, Gorakhpur. Using crop rotation practices, we always grow mustard (sarson) after a crop of legumes. This ensures rich nitrogen content in soil as legumes do what is called nitrogen fixation. They enrich the soil with nitrogen and then when we grow Mustard we do not need to apply any chemical fertilizers like urea, which are basically used to provide nitrogen to the crop

Quality Control

Randomly selected samples from each consignment undergo extensive testing in our inhouse laboratory to ensure high oil content and low acid values.

Pressing

The process involves gently pressing the seeds at very low temperature. At Nutrieka, we take great care in our production process, avoiding the use of high heat or chemicals, we use a single pressing method without adding water, resulting in an oil that is free from erucic acid and pungency. Nutrieka cold pressed oil has aromatic flavour.

Purification

The oil is meticulously cleaned from any impurities using sedimentation and double filtration. It is then transferred under careful supervision in a controlled environment into clean and hygienic containers.

Packaging

Glass bottles are used for packaging to maintain quality and hygiene. Safety seals are used to ensure no tampering occurs during en-route to our customers and the package is delivered just as it left our warehouse.
